Staff

 

Andi Syukri is a civil engineer with a particular interest in tsunami risk reduction. He has a Bachelor's of Engineering in civil engineering and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in civil engineering, both from Andalas University in Indonesia. Andi gained valuable experience assessing buildings following the September 2009 earthquake in West Sumatra. He also was a member of a team that designed a tsunami evacuation structure for coastal communities that was selected as a finalist for the Mondialogo Engineering Award presented by UNESO and Daimler.
